Due to the COVID-19 Restrictions only Online Counselling Sessions are currently available. When the COVID-19 Restrictions are eased Face-to-Face Counselling Sessions will be resumed. The Online Counselling Sessions will continue for Clients, as appropriate, and will be offered to new Clients as well as the Face-to Face Sessions and the Client may chose whichever option suits them.
Many of us experience difficult or stressful situations at certain times in our life and it can be really helpful to be able to talk about them with a professional counsellor to understand what is happening to us and to discover different, more helpful ways of coping with them.
I provide a professional, safe and confidential space for medium to long-term counselling with individual adult Clients. I am Registered with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) and I was awarded with my Masters in Counselling in 2017.
I use an Integrative Model of Counselling which draws on the Person-Centred Approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), the Psychodynamic Approach and Creative Techniques to work with the client in a gentle and collaborative way to allow the client to understand their situation and to find positive ways of moving forward.
I provide an Initial Session free of charge to allow the Client to find out about me and how I work and for me to establish that I will be working with the Client within my competency.
I offer affordable rates (reduced if applicable) during the day and the evenings.
I work with various issues including: anxiety, depression, stress, domestic abuse, relationship issues, bereavement, self-harm, childhood abuse and spiritual issues.
