My name is Eileen Stevenson, I am a qualified Counsellor and have been counselling for 8 years. I offer face-to-face counselling sessions in Coleraine, Co. Londonderry, N. Ireland, and online counselling sessions to clients who live anywhere within the United Kingdom.

I graduated with my Masters Degree in Counselling (MA) in October 2017 after 4 years of part-time study whilst working for the NHS. I continued to work as a Counsellor for a local counselling charity until I launched The Chalet Counselling Service in April 2020.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC). I follow the Ethical Guidelines of both organisations.

I will be focused on understanding you and your situation, helping you to clarify issues, helping you to find ways of dealing with them, and to seeing them from a new perspective. One of my aims is to help you to understand that you have a choice about how you react and therefore that you can be more in control of your life. I love seeing the transformation that takes place in my clients as they work through the counselling process. I wish to equip you to lead a fulfilling life. I am keen for you to thrive in life, not just survive life!!
